Regular courses

These courses are offered on a regular basis according our schedule. They are focused on EMC standards and Directives, including regulatory aspects as well as test methods explanation and EMC design rules and strategies.

Regular courses are open to all attendees enrolled according to our annual planning. See the courses summary below:

MIL-STD-461G Testing: EMC Certification for Defence & Space Systems

This course offers specialized EMC training in accordance with MIL-STD-461G, designed for technical staff working in defense and space environments. Participants will gain a clear and practical understanding of the main emissions and susceptibility tests, including conducted emissions (CE101, CE102), magnetic field emissions and susceptibility (RE101, RS101), conducted susceptibility on power lines (CS101), electrostatic discharge (CS118), radiated susceptibility (RS103), current injection and transient tests (CS114, CS115, and CS116), and radiated emissions (RE102).

The program combines theoretical foundations with practical demonstrations in an EMC laboratory, covering the applicability of each test, limits, instrument configuration, calibration processes, and results interpretation.

In-person modality course
  • Duration: 18 hours
  • Methodology: Intensive with activities in the EMC Laboratory
  • Dates: June 01 – 03, 2026
  • Language: English or Spanish, depending on the participants’ preferences

Registration is open until all seats are filled or until May 25, 2026, whichever comes first. The full information about the course content and registration can be accessed by clicking on:

The EMC and Radio Directives: Standards and Testing for CE Compliance

This course provides specialized training on compliance with European Directives on electromagnetic compatibility and radio equipment, an essential regulatory requirement for the marketing of electrical, electronic, and radiocommunication products in the European Union, as well as the proper application of CE marking.

The program combines regulatory foundations with technical content and laboratory practice, covering the definition of the EMC testing plan, the preparation of the technical conformity documentation, conducted and radiated emissions testing, and the main immunity tests. Key metrological concepts such as calibration, traceability, and uncertainty estimation in measurement systems will also be introduced.

In-person modality course
  • Duration: 19 hours
  • Methodology: Intensive with practical activities in the EMC Laboratory (S2 y S3)
  • Dates: June 16 – 18, 2026
  • Language: Spanish

Registration is open until all seats are filled or until June 08, 2026, whichever comes first. The full information about the course content and registration can be accessed by clicking on:

Practical EMI Problem Solving and Debugging

When developing new electrical and electronic products, EMC problems usually arise late in the process, once the product is already being tested in the lab. Engineers often spend many hours and resources in the lab, testing countless samples and solutions that do not always yield satisfactory results. This is more challenging when costs and delivery margins are tight and critical. This course focuses on debugging techniques and fundamentals for solving radiated and conducted emissions problems, highlighting methods that engineers can apply in their own workplaces without access to an EMC lab.

The course provides a practical workflow for implementing effective techniques that typically reduce emissions, using relative, repeatable measurement methods to determine the best solution for each product. The target audience for this course is electronic, hardware, validation, quality, or firmware engineers who will eventually transform a failure in the EMC laboratory into an efficient debugging process, accelerating and improving optimal design while minimizing the time, hours, and logistics associated with repeated laboratory campaigns and late redesign.

In-person modality course
  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Methodology: Intensive practical session in the EMC Laboratory
  • Dates: October 01, 2026
  • Language: English or Spanish, depending on the participants’ preferences

Registration is open until all seats are filled or until September 22, 2026, whichever comes first. The full information about the course content and registration can be accessed by clicking on:

EMC in Electronic Design

As you embark on the development of new electrical or electronic equipment, your role in applying specific design techniques aimed at Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is crucial. Your efforts not only save time and money, but also ensure compliance with the EMC directive and standards, leading to a product with high immunity thresholds and reduced emission levels. Your understanding and application of these techniques are what make the difference in today’s technological environments.

This course will cover design methods to control and reduce the effect of electromagnetic interference in electronic systems. All phases of the design are considered, from the conception of the electrical diagram through the design of the printed circuit to considering filtering techniques, shielding or the assembly and distribution of wiring in the equipment.

In-person modality course
  • Duration: 27 hours
  • Methodology: Intensive with practical session in the EMC Laboratory
  • Dates: November 03 – 06, 2026
  • Language: Spanish

Registration is open until all seats are filled or until October 26, 2026, whichever comes first. The full information about the course content and registration can be accessed by clicking on:

Tailor-made courses

We design and organize tailor-made courses for client companies and institutions. Tailored courses focus on the EMC topics or industry sectors that you are of the client interest. This is the best option to optimize training budget while covering the topics needed to train the company employees.

At the client´s premises

The courses can be held at your company/ institution, and your staff can be trained there, avoiding travel and logistic expenses for your employees and minimizing interference with their regular work.

Tailor-made courses are budgeted independently of the number of participants. Therefore, you will get a fixed price for as many participants as needed.

Workshops

Participate in our workshops, taught jointly with our business and R&D partners, to stay current on the state of the art of electromagnetic compatibility.

We will address topics of current interest about the latest advances and new methodologies to apply EMC according to new trends and current technological challenges, such as:

Time-domain Electromagnetic Interference Measurements.

In-situ Emissions Assessment of Complex Installations.
